Join other local entrepreneurs for networking, business card exchange, and a non-promotional opportunity to learn more about insurance and retirement planning needs for small business owners.
As a small business owner, you have many things to focus on all at once. Everything from developing your product and growing your customer base to tracking finances and building a profitable business. As your business grows so does your need for proper insurance coverage and financial planning. On December 4th, at 7:00pm join us at Skylight Coworking in Phoenixville, and meet with other entrepreneurs for a discussion on properly insuring your business, protecting your employees, and how to build your retirement nest egg as a small business owner. Bring any questions you have, and throughout the evening we will review the most common insurance and investing topics for Small Business Owners.
We will touch on topics such as:
· How homeowners insurance policies provide coverage for a business run out of the home
· What insurance coverage is needed when contracting for larger businesses
· When you need Workers Compensation Insurance and the difference between an employee and independent contractor
· Employee Fringe Benefits such as company Retirement Plans and Group Life insurance and the costs associated
· Personal retirement planning and which qualified Retirement Plan is best for you, the business owner
· Personal Health and Disability Insurance, what options you have for yourself and your family
Presenting the topics will be State Farm Agent Clinton Houck. Clint is a second generation Agent, a Penn State Alumni, and has worked for State Farm since 2008. He started his career as a specialist in Commercial and Workers Compensation insurance.
